I thought I'd decloak momentarily to post the url for one of my latest ground-based MOC's. If you'd like to see it, check out: (URL) are welcome. -Tom McD. (URL) (24 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Docking system

(...) True. But I don't think it's sufficiently flexible for my needs. I really like the idea of having the ships mate at a 90 degree angle. I think it enhances playability a great deal. Also, aesthetically, I prefer symmetry. --Bill. (24 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Steampunk: The Mean Tine

hey, nice lil MOC. I also love the steampunk genre, and have been planning an airship MOC of my own, a little more along the lines of the final fantasy airships or even the weatherlight from magic the gathering. it might be a while, considering i (...)   Same Film, Different Codec

For those who had trouble with the other video file, try this one. It's only 7 MB, too. If this doesn't work, I may have to try Quicktime (ugh, I hate Quicktime!). BTW, right-clicking the link and choosing "save target as" generally works better (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jun-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, lugnet.animation)

Re: New Lego Film - a Teaser

I'm sorry about the difficulties some people seem to be having with the player. I'm just using the old Windows 98 avi player, and have no trouble. I'm re-exporting it with a different codec right now and will have it up shortly. -- Paul Davidson (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jun-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, lugnet.animation)

Re: New Lego Film - a Teaser

Well done! It makes me want to see more, like a teaser should. But if you put work into a long project, sound would be good. I had some trouble viewing it though, I couldn't get it to go at all using the link, so I saved the file to my computer. (...)   New Lego Film - a Teaser

Hi, I've made my first "polished" Lego movie and am submitting it for the pleasure of Lugnetters. It's a teaser for a longer project yet to come, and is 49 seconds in length. I haven't added any music or sound effects...I may do so later. Filesize (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jun-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, lugnet.animation)

High velocity gravity! Hah! That's a nifty little model. Steampunk is definitely an underdeveloped theme. I'd love to see someone tackle a technic version of the spider-mech from Wild Wild West. Nice Job Evil Wayne! As a fellow fan of all things Steampunkish, I appreciate the look captured by Mean Time. I especially like the look of the boiler.   Steampunk: The Mean Tine
