Y'know, it just doesn't matter if Shiri makes it to a Nelug meeting or not.
She has asked, it is up to NELUG to decide how far along the continuum of
absurdity they wish to take their under 18 yrs. prohibition.
I feel sure that I am not alone in recognizing that Shiri has touched the
minds of many, many lugnuts. Getting in to visit with NELUG is small
potatoes compared to the fact that Shiri has made so many international
friends here! Let's face it, there's a loose-knit, unofficial Shiri fan
club amongst us...
...if NELUG wants to miss out on having ULTRA-COOL Shiri hang with them,
it's their loss! And thankfully not our own!
-- Hop-Frog (I don't personally like clubs because of the sorts of
situations that arise from them -- especially situations of the kind where
some smaller subsets of people in a group get to pick and choose who may and
may not belong to the group overall. And while it's probably true that many
wouldn't choose to have me in a club, I wouldn't tend to want to belong to
many clubs either! Win-Win.)
