Hi Geordan, Did you ever tried to put an creation into an box and surrounding the structure with the loose tempex foam bananas or chips ? Being so close to Seattle, it would be especially convenient for members of the VLC to build robots and bring them to the upcoming robot competition to be held at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle on October 6th. (...) Geordan, I'm not VLC, but I'l take this one anyway since I routinely transport 10 mecha per meeting. Padding is good. Seperation of limbs is better. Hi Geordan, (...) transported something like that before, I'd suggest putting your model in a box surrounded by bubble wrap. Sad but true. I got a call today from the organizers with the sorry news that the show has been cancelled. (...) Just some information. I see that you use only 2 red LED's for the crossing signal. If you use the round 1x1 bricks, then you can pull the wires through the hole of these bricks. We're confirmed for the Surrey Railfest show, September 2nd, Bear Creek Park (King George Highway and 88th Ave.). Setup is at 8:00am, or perhaps a trifle earlier. Just as a point of interest, a cease and desist order must be placed first. Lawsuits etc. come after defiance (which we won't be).
