Oh, sorry -- chunks. To savor on.
I should take pictures sometime.
One other thing that's fun to do -- if you're serving them at a party --
is to stick each one with a toothpick (the cheesy kind with the colored
cellophane :-) and color-code them by hotness or garlickyness. You can
also take that opportunity to attach a garlic or pepper chunk to each
pickle chunk, for the truly insane. :-)

I could feel the diaphanous aura of the pickle as it crunched, followed by a blissfully eerie state of otherness as it slid (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jul-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
