A little further legal note:
As Rick was in fact commenting on Mladen's statements, the reproduction of his
entire email would most likely be construed as "fair use" by a court in the US.
The idea is that in order to have a free discussion-like the one we are having
here-you might need to refer to other things that people have written.
Personally, I agree with Rick's posting the message, even on a politeness
level. Mladen was proposing to turn Lugnetters against him. Why not strike
first in that kind of battle? Rick has the upper hand, I think, given his
story.
The only bad thing I can think of is whether Rick misrepresented Mladen in
anyway. That is why it is important for him to have repeated the email in its
entirety. (Thoa I applaud him for refusing to repeat swear words.)
