Hi, has anyone seen the Silver Champion in stores yet? I'm guessing that other states will get the set before NSW, like the UCS sets, and the Falcon. (None of which I've seen for sale yet.) I saw stacks of the 7190 in TRU late last week, umm'ed and ahh'ed about buying one (AUD$169), then decided to go back a few days later only to find that it had SOLD OUT in EVERY TRU in Melbourne!!! I went the other week with Kerry and Melody (see Brisbane lugnet.loc.au.bri) and can say with almost certainty that it was smaller than previous shows. One of my preschool lego memories (1964) when all I had was white and red bricks, was that many of the red bricks were a "lighter" red, and they never gripped well (and they were new then)...many of my models just fell apart or collapsed--anyone (...) (25 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Well, the only non-AFOL info I can give is based on a second-hand toy-shop near work...they charge between $100 and $200 for a container approx 1'x1'x1' [Of course, the seller only gets 50% of the sale price...they sell on consignment] I'm actually (...) Is there any rule of thumb for pricing a collection of assorted Lego pieces? Either by weight or piece count? I'm a convert -- these are great! Finally bought <set:2745> at TRU for $140 on the weekend: I love it! The train is really fun, and since the set contains about $100 worth of track it's pretty good value. I'm most interested in setting up the (...) (...) we've seen this problem before... it seems that the ldraw.org site lives in the far depths of the internet. A lot of people seem to need more than 30 "hops" to get to it, and apparently, there's software out there that is just not patient (...) Dare I say it - this isn't accurate. :-) Crossbows are extremely accurate and powerful weapons, but more importantly they are easier to be accurate with (point it at what you want to hit and shoot). (...) Crossbows were easy to use - there was a lot less training required. Years less, to be specific. They were good in castle defense when rate of fire was less important and a pre-drawn bow was valuable - as little time exposed as possible. The (...)
