It was interesting to hear him talk about the designs.  The orginal snow
speeder design had a working tow rope that was pulled for $$ concerns.  All of
the models have to fit the price point to a fraction of penny.

Yes, MOC creations can easily be more realistic.  But MOC's don't have to
be commercially viable products.  That large-scale TIE Interceptor is
incredible, but I wouldn't expect TLG to start selling a set to build it.
