Someone mentioned that a $15 price increase would be worthwhile to them for those windows, but Lego would still have to sell 6,667 copies of the set just to *cover* the cost of the mold. Since they are a business, as you keep saying, they have to make a profit. Can you guarantee they'd sell enough to cover their expenses and still make a worthwhile profit? I'm fairly sure Brad specifically meant "new molds of old parts we don't have the molds for anymore," since what is the point of making a new part for a classic set that neither existed then nor now? Jeff: You make statements like this because you like to think that you know something from the "inside." But you don't, and neither do I. Give it up. (...) I don't buy the excuse of "LEGO can't afford to make new molds." They make molds for new pieces by the barrelful every time a new line comes out. If they can afford to make new molds for a lot of weird, single-use pieces (Galidor limbs, King (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jun-02, to lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.general)
