I said that "the same effect could have been achieved". The effect of a
white column. The effect of a building that looks like an elevator shaft.
The effect of a building with no walls.
What I didn't say was that you could make the "exact same
identical-in-every-way, you can't tell the difference" building using 2x2
bricks. If it will make you happy I will update this particular line on the
site to more clearly reflect what I've just said. Otherwise, I think you've
blown it a bit out-of-proportion. I'm one guy, running one goofy little
website. I've posted much more scathing messages about the same set on
LUGNET (which gets thousands of hits a day) and yet you have jumped all over
this 'review' on my site (which gets about 20 or 30 hits a day). Can
someone explain to me the difference in reactions?
This is just.... my..... opinion. Please, Richie.... write a bang on review
of this set and post it on the web somewhere.

You should put those comments in your review. You make good points.

I guess I'll just have to take that chance. I don't *feel* as though the
company is listening to some of it's 'other' customers. Those who aren't
AFOL's and who don't use LUGNET. WARNING: This is just my opinion and is
not backed up by fact.
My response to this *feeling* that I have was to begin to post to LUGNET in
the hopes that someone would like to hear this message. Folks like you
(Richie) made this painful at times because the message seemed to get lost
in a tremendous amount of noise... arguing.... bickering..... pointless
debates. So I took it upon myself to create this site. There is no
profanity on Expert Builder. There is no name calling on Expert Builder.
No one calls anyone a liar. There is very little background noise..... just
one customer trying to reach out to a company he dearly loves. If you don't
like my approach, then please ignore me. I've already publically stated
that I intend to soon stop posting to LUGNET. It's conversations like this
one that hash a tiny point to a pulp that cause the real message to get
"lost in the noise".
