If by "Old style axe" you mean what Partsref calls "Castle Pike", King Leo's
Castle has three (in cool colors, no less). The hand ax I haven't seen since
Wild West. . .
I think baseplate are like cloth or Technic flex tubes---cut to spec.

I assume that all the Ninja parts are still producible, although not currently
available (except in minifig sets).
We haven't seen the classic CRAPP for quite a while, or other old raised
baseplates (<set:6079>, <set:6090>) (not, admittedly, Castle-specific parts).
How about the turret toppers from LEGO DACTA Castle Set?
Are barrels in any current sets?
Ghost shrouds (and I don't miss 'em a bit).
Fun stuff to think about.
