Maybe.
There is more than one way to interpret the following quote from Brad's
post: "By the way, these classic items are *not* the "July Surprise"
What if you place emphasis on the word "these", or in other words -- that
the sets listed were not the July Surprise? Perhaps he was alluding to
something not listed, as opposed to something not a part of the "classic" line.
Just guessing anyway...
But you have to admit that the availability of the Maiden Hat mold may well
suggest something incorporating its use, don't you?
