I guess the next question is do people feel strongly enough about the
exactness of the sets.
would a remade Guarded Inn be acceptable with a twin clip saddle. OK bad
example I know - of course it would but you get my point.
Its a pity it's mainly minifig accessories that are the victims of
extinction as they kind of set off the tone. Would the yellow castle be the
same with guys wearing those nasty roman style helmets sitting outside it
(as for the horses I changed the brick made horses for minifig horses yonks
ago)
but then the amount of naff new pieces they keep creating (poops in
particular) I'm sure remaking a few old pieces is hardly rocket science
