I think not!
I believe those so called ‘good-guys’ are based upon their big brothers - the
Bionicles (or what ever you decide to call them) twins.
Which means:
Danju - is Purple (or Violet)

Rascus - is Green

Santis - is Red (or Dark Red not sure)

Even the minfigs small weapons are a small replica of the Bionicles.
The sheilds on 8779 are Bionicles parts and all the symbols are the same.
As for the bad guys:
