First those Bioknights (Abdominations rather than Constractions). And
now those Idiot Kid(TM) castle sets.
Why bother making so many parts? Make the walls and buildíngs part of
the baseplate, and add (optionally) a one-piece-roof for the main
building, if any. Throw in a few Jack Stones with eyewatering armour
print and a three-piece siege engine, and you'll have the next step in
LEGO Castle development.
At least, the sets are no tempation to squander money, so I can spend it
on bulk purchases in Windsor and my Bricklink bills...
The last year worth to be called "Banner Year for Castle" is old enough
to buy spirits, drive a car, and rent adult movies ;-)

| just checked and this picture came out of an official set on sale so I guess its public now (URL) to Phil Traviss for finding this and scanning it (21 years ago, 16-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle) !
