I only used eight, to simplify the drawing, which was made by hand.

All I say is that the benefits from it overweight the extra effort.

Correct, Can't argue with that !
But this problem surfaces, due to the intrinsic polygonized language we use
(LDRAW).
Also as a solution, we could put these merged files in a separate (*.dat) file
which can then be replaced by something else in POV-Ray or other.
Also take into account that overdraw is a lot more "costly" in a raytracer than
in a polygon renderer.

I'm sorry about that, it's the default action for reply in my mail reading
software (reply to all).
Why do I sence some hostility ?
Aren't we here for the fun of it ?
I only express my opinions, I'm Not forcing anything to anyone.
If the comunity finds my sugestions worthy, then they will accept it, or else
they will NOT, simple and democratic. I can live with that.
See ya, and be happier, life passes in just a split second, lets make the most
of it.

| (...) I meant to say "no point _for_me_ to discuss anymore". Sorry for sounding harsh. (...) I still don't agree. But as I said (or rather meant to say, English isn't my primary language, so I sometimes goof) we probably don't need to discuss this (...) (25 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
