My NOTE had no intention to be ofensive.
I'm sorry if you took it ofensively, that was NOT the intention.
I also dislike windows, unfortunatly, some people (like me) are
forced to try to work (sometimes it's impossible) with it!

I think this is NOT a good excuse for that, because it either is an MPD
file or it's NOT, No garbage at the beginning should be allowed.
Also because if you want to put something at the begining of the MPD, you
can by using the LDRAW comment command:
0 some comment/stuff you want to insert
Which after spliting the files will become part of the main DAT model
file (this is assuming my sugested MPD format).
