Fixed it! When running the coords through the matrix I wasn't storing the new values in a separate array, so when it came to calculating the new Z coord on the 4-4ndis.dat and 4-4disc.dat parts I was using the translated X and Y coords in the calc (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)

I was looking at this, and I think that the top of the banner pole won't stand on its own. After several false starts and *60 hours* of render time, BrickDreams Scene #8 is finally finished. IMO it is my best one yet. Yup, you sure are correct. In fact, there is 30388p01 and p02 that should be 30387 and there is no 30387 without a pattern on it. Well, All you have to do is replace Yellow with "Main-Color". I have been weighing that problem. Weather to make the part the color that TLG made it, like the Star Wars parts that only have that pattern on a certain color, or to let a person choose (...) I've been messing with some VB code to read DAT files and draw them on the screen, and have been surprised at how quickly I managed to pull it together (esp. after spending some time poring over the LDraw FAQ trying to work out the transformation (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad)

Hey Dug, I have had some difficulty with that at times as well. One way I began to over come the problem was to open the rotation dialog bod and go to the bottom text window (you have to click the radio button to enable it). And enter "1 0 0 0 1 0 0 (...) Hi all, I'm pretty much new to MLcad, although I'm not quite new to the world of CAD. I had some trouble after rotating a part at 45deg. After that I couldn't get the rotation angle back to 90.... KK was able to give me the number to the 12 x 24 Brick, so that now it is 30072.DAT This will make it easier for people to incorporate it into their individual LDraw libraries.
