(...) Thanks a lot. Could you, by any chance, try to model the helmet too? It is a little bit bigger that a normal visor. By the way, another question just out of curiosity: how do you model the part? Do you have this set and check the pyhsical (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Golden Astronaut helmets? and Breastplates?

Hi Hakan, In answer to #2: I went searching through lugnet.cad.* and checked the parts tracker(1) but couldn't find the breastplate being worked on or finished. So give me a few days (or more) and I'll see what I can do. It looks like a fun part to (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 3DS MAX

Yeah I'd like to know where you got it for free also! I searched the Autodesk and Kinex site and there was nothing about the core product for free. There was a free upgrade from 3.0 to 3.1 I do have a copy of 3D Studio Max 1.0 that I got when I was (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  LDList

Does LDList require an ldraw.ini file or a LDRAWPATH? Scanning doesn't seem to do anything, and I don't have an ldraw.ini file because I don't have LDAO (since the latest version crahed my machine--or has this been fixed?) TIA, --Bram Bram Lambrecht (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  3DS MAX

Are any of you 3D Studio Max users? If so, do you know where I could get the program? I'd like to see how it works and maybe use it for some stuff. If you have any suggestions for other 3D programs, LMK. Thanks, --Bram Bram Lambrecht (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)
