Hi,

First off all i hope that i post this in the right subgroup.

I would like to create a new part for the LDRAW library and i do have some
questions
but can't find an answer for it, nor on Lugnet nor on LDRAW.ORG.

1) In witch direction point the X axis
2) In witch direction point the y axis
3) In witch direction point the Z axis

4) In witch direction do we INCREMENT the numbers
5) In witch direction do we DECREMENT the numbers

Can someone explain this?
Perhaps with a 3-D drawing from the 3 axis?

Let's see ...

    Y-
X-  |  Z+
  \ | /
   \|/
    +
   /|\
  / | \
Z-  |  X+
   Y+

(sorry this isn't to scale)

Adding this information to the FAQ in LDRAW.ORG?

Probably not a bad idea.

6) I'm i right (i could be wrong too) that someone posted an EXCEL file on his
web site
to calculate offsets for the line2,line3 & line4 commands?
I tought it was Steve Bliss, but can find it anymore on his site.

I did publish an EXCEL file with several utility functions, called
rotate.xls.  But I'm not sure if that was the file you mean.  You can find my
file by following the link at <http://www.geocities.com/partsref/>.

Steve
