Does LDList require an ldraw.ini file or a LDRAWPATH?

LDList is still stupid enough to require the LDRAWPATH environment variable,
and ignores the setting in LDRAW.INI (but it reads the view definitions from
LDRAW.INI, talk about consistency!)

Is there any interest in an update? And what should it be in that case?

Does LDList require an ldraw.ini file or a LDRAWPATH? Scanning doesn't seem to do anything, and I don't have an ldraw.ini file because I don't have LDAO (since the latest version crahed my machine--or has this been fixed?) TIA, --Bram Bram Lambrecht (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)
