I just visited the FBTB site and had a look at the custom models. First I thought: Wow a new Ldraw AAT by John P Green but then I noticed that this is mine ! Thank you very much for your nice words..:-), but they are not much about creativity of using the full range of Lego pieces in right ways, and creating amazing models just using a handful of pieces, just you do. Awesome models Selçuk. I like how they all you plate and brick to "sculpt" the shape of the real like vehicle. I especially like your Shuttle and Colonial Viper. This is a variation of my original lunar rover. The Apollo Lunar Rover (LRV) had to be folded for stowing it in the Lunar Module (LM) due to space considerations. I've just uploaded several DAT files to dat.models. They are mostly from my childhood, just before the darkages time, when I was 12-13 years old (1982-1984). They all computerized versions of physical models(1) and my collection was a very limited (...) (25 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build)

A new release of stl2dat is available here (URL) creates now correctly the type 2 lines. I removed the bug with "partial adjacent facets". I used Platypus Animator (from (URL) to build an MPG file from a series of L3P-->POV files (see the results at (URL) I believe that Platypus can convert to an animated GIF also... I'm stunned speechless! Wow. You may consider restricting the views to be -- uhm, what's the correct term again? -- isometric? When starting out with an oblique view and rotating with the mouse, you may end up with a view that is "skewed". I think (...) (25 years ago, 13-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)

Yes I did think of that but the model is made up of parts which move through the build. I tried using "0 CLEAR" but L3P rendered the lot.
