enjoyed them, especially the excavator model.

I know what you mean, although there are some notable exceptions such as
the 8448 Supercar which are simply amazing. I think the problem is that
many of the poorer ones lack direction - I really don't understand what
they are trying to achieve with some of them, such as the Police Buggy you
mention. I suppose these are targeted towards *really* young kids. Mind
you, I do think the 8226 Mud Masher is a great wee model!
The CyberSlam stuff is always reduced at the local Toy Stack here, and is
therefore a great source of mini motors (set 8266). For that and the
excellent technic figures therein, I am grateful :-)
