Two original Technic creations —Jennifer Clark
Hi folks, I've just put a new website online with a couple of my recent Technic creations, a "technic figure scale" skid steer loader and a mobile crane. The loader is fully operated by pneumatics and motors, and the crane by motors. I've put a lot (...)      Jennifer, They are amazing. Jut reminds me the good old days of technic, when most of the models were both functioning and beautifully looking. By the way, honey, I've never seen a woman before making crane mechanics her hobby. I just amazed..:-) (...) (24 years ago, 2-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

Not sure if you've seen them already but there are the dark grey ones as included in 8480 Space Shuttle and others, although they're 16-tooth gears, and not 8-tooth gears. Cheers ...       (...) Yeah, I've used a few of the 16 tooth idlers in the crane model for the gearbox and a few other things. These parts really are a godsend!      (...) It occured to me that you can drill a hole in the 8 tooth gear in the same size as the one in the 16 tooth ditto. Not a "pure" LEGO solution but still a solution. Congrats on the Cool LEGO site of the week award, you deserved it! (URL) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)
