I have allowed myself to be misunderstood/deviated. As I said before, I am
not sure anything needs to be done on this issue. If people really want to
find a charter for any group I expect they will find it. I am just not aware
of a flood of people asking where groups charters are?
If the charters need to be in peoples face, then a number of simple
solutions are available. I am aware of a number of problems which LUGNET
has which are bigger than this. This, in my view, is problem hunting *not*
problem solving. The health of this community is not best severed by having
open ended discussions about issues which just do not matter to most of us.
That is what my initial post was all about. I think we should focus on
making changes that people want. An example:

Annoyingly, my post has done nothing but prolong this discussion
its aim
was to help end it.

I shall look forward to that. ;)
