Hello Tim. You have every right to have your own opinion on how to interpret
my post. Misread, I can understand how someone might think that I thought
Lugnet was never calm. This was not my intention. I just noticed heated
debates more often this year than I ever have, which (probably totally
unrelated) ended with the resignation of many admins. This is *my* opinion,
and I would appreciate not being mistaken for a barb-er or just plain rude.
Everyone has opinions and not all of them can be or will be agreed upon.
Either like it or don’t, but don’t think of it as rude or unnecessary until
you consider that maybe it was meant as a nice “ahhhh, that’s better...”
post.

I wasn’t interpreting your post at all. I realise that my response sounded a
little harher than it was intended. Basically all I was trying to say was that
you should have been more careful if you were posting an “ahhh, that’s better..”
post in how you phrased it, and if not, yoy would definitely be stirring the pot
in that statement, which is exactly the phenomenen you claim to be pleased is
gone. However, given your misinterpretation of my post, which I spent a long
time trying to compose to be ‘nice’ I see that it is harder then it seems so
given that I probably came across doubly too harsh.

I do care about Lugnet. I care enough to be willing to help adminning
myself, BUT, that’s not my decision and I stand behind Todd and Suz in
whatever they decide.
Furthermore, I could be just like you and take Lenny’s post out of context
about other forums being more fun. But, I’m above it because I know what he
really meant to say even though he could have worded it differently.

I don’t think I took Lenny’ statement out of context. I don’t frequent any other
forum apart from JLug, which I use as a compliment to Lugnet so I don’t really
see how I could. In fact, I don’t see what I’ve written about that at all. My
post was a general opinion on what has been happening on Lugnet. Again, I am
sorry of it could be interpreted badly.

Be nice, play fair, build LEGO and show off your awesome MOCs on the bestest

I am in complete and total agreement. More MOC, less general opinions perhaps
;-)
Sorry to you, and (if) Lenny if any offense was taken. It was really an attempt
at a very general post.
