Lenny, people were having fun elsewhere long before Lugnet was around. Having
fun on other forums does not mean people don't care - I for one use Lugnet as a
resource regularly, and I think it's value in that area is only rivalled by
Brickshelf. The possibility of both disappearing is, I think, quite a large blow
to the online LEGO community, and I *know* there's a lot of people who don't
want to see that happen. Is there enough? As others have said, gauging that
seems to be part of the current process.

(...) Well, I don't like the implication that Lugnet wasn't calm and peaceful BECAUSE of the Admins. As if we wanted everyone to call us names and be mean to us. But honestly, things get quiet because people stop caring. I mean, Suz has announced (...) (19 years ago, 14-Jul-05, to lugnet.admin.general)
