This is often claimed, but I’m not sure if there’s evidence to support it... it
seems to me that there are less posts and posters than there were two years ago.
Perhaps one of the Admins could provide some statistics to support the alleged
growth?
My own crude analysis of what is available is as follows:

(I’m happy to be corrected on any of the above. They have been calculated
manually and crudely. It would be great to see some official stats.)
While there is an increase in the total number of posters, they didn’t post very
much at all.
This would seem to indicate that there are fewer active posters, and that they
are posting less. I don’t see the growth, and the resulting need for ‘more
infrastructure’ and ‘law enforcement’.

| (...) This kinda got me curious. So I did some statting: (URL) Some of the data was tweaked slightly because groups were shuffled around or added with pre-existing content. Like when the handyboard group was added that already contained 6000+ posts, (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX) !
