I used to trade off my palm trees left and right, as I had no use for them. Now I am saving them (minemineMINE!), in case I build a beach/jungle. The RCX can communicate with the scout using the IR link, any programming system (including the RIS standard stuff) that can send/receive messages via IR link can communicate with the Scout.
