OK - for all the mechanical gurus here... You've probably seen my RC manas truck on the sidebar here. The steering is controlled by one manas motor, geared down so it's really slow. I just look up the dimensions of these things and they're restricted to 2.5m wide including mirrors. 8 wide is about 0.8 studs to the foot for US trains (IIRC) so 7/0.8=2.66m so you're right. He was tinkering as usual, and figured out a way to lay the old 4.5 volt battery train rails 3 studs apart and make a complete loop. Here is a pic of just a curve: (...) Hi all, I've converted the old conversion file from LDD 1.6 (with Jason Railton's adaptions) to LDD 2.0 format. It is far from perfect but is also far better than what is currently available. To install it just quit LDD 2, go to (...) (18 years ago, 22-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

(...) Unfortunately, LDD 2.0 no longer runs on earlier versions of Windows. LDD 1.6 ran quite happily under Windows 2000, but the new version crashes as soon as you place a brick.
