Re: 10133 BNSF Locomotive Ship date?

Hello Juan, This has been asked and answered before. Next time, I recomment you preform a small search on the topic (for instance with keyword BNSF) before you post. See this tread: (URL) friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (20 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Why is it pushed back? Was:Burlington is being shipped (in Europe, that is)

We already had several copies of the real BNSF set present on LEGOWORLD 2004. One is shown here: (URL) picture by AndreasTretbar. The Clikits fragment seen in the back of the picture isn't a poster or banner, but a realy nice bedcover + pillow case (...) (20 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.clikits, FTX)

(...) Simple: This isn't an exact science. We estimate our best guess and work hard to get things in place by those dates in order to get you goods as quickly as possible. Overall, our track record is that we typically ship on or often before the (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Why is it pushed back? Was:Burlington is being shipped (in Europe, that is)

Why does the release date keep getting pushed back in the US? When I pre-ordered mine, the shipping date was November 11, 2004. Then it got pushed back to November 24th. Now it says it will ship by december 8th! What going on? -Juan (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: MOC: Pacific Coast Shay #2

(...) Thanks for the tip! (...) Well at some stage I would also like to spend some time travelling there, I'd really like to visit some coal mining states to check out the big machines, and obviously do some train spotting too. It may be a few years (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: MOC: Pacific Coast Shay #2

(...) You should go! Heading up the mountain on a shay is quite an experience. Remember to take a coat, you will be amazed by the temperature change when you get to the other side of the mountain. Expect several hours traveling from DC though. (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Thanks Marc! He actually operated one? Cool! Cass is definitely on my list of places to visit in the US. Maybe next time I get to BF - it's not all that far away from DC :) ROSCO (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: MOC: Pacific Coast Shay #2

(...) Yep it does make a nice sound, with the 2 motors whirring. I've actually just yesterday re-built it using the un-geared motors, to see if I could get it running close to the same speed as a train motor, and the reduction in volume is amazing! (...)
