Shaun, yes, they are as accurate as possible. The cannon is modeled on a German ww2 50mm PAK anti-tank gun and does actually have working suspension for recoil and ejects the empty shells out of the breech :)....the machine guns are just as close as (...) Carl, The Tiger II Tank is AMAZING. What do you use for reference material? The detail on the interior is stunning, especially if it is all accurate! The WWII Street Scene looks perfect too. Great work David! That X-wing is awesome! The ATM-FX1 mecha is also very impressive. Very nice color scheme. Did yo have to dissassemble one of these to build the other? This works great! I did replace the (relatively rare) black catch with a gray one for the experiment, but filing down that edge *really* helps. I had many problems getting mine to work, I was changing the rubber bands and such, when my girlfriend said, let me see it. She roll it and it unfolded magically, I asked her how she did it. To get mine to work I had to commit the ultimate sacriledge and modify a lego part. I filed the "edge" off the black "catch with cross hole" (URL) that latches the back legs. this let is slip off and unfold easier. It was the easiest thing to do (...) (25 years ago, 18-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)
