This works great! I did replace the (relatively rare)
black catch with a gray one for the experiment, but
filing down that edge *really* helps.
I find it a bit more tricky to keep the droid partially
folded until the front legs are locked in, but that's
a small price to pay (well, and the piece "sacrifice").
