I am in need of a large quantity of studless parts and gears and am kicking myself for not buying the Mars Rover kits when they were on sale at WalMart this Christmas for 25 bucks. A while ago I came across an unusual item on Eric Strand's awesome Brickshelf gallery. He has an excellent collection of old department store gift catalogs with Lego. The 8416 forklift and 8420 motorcycle are starting to show up in larger TRU stores in the Toronto, Ontario area.... but.... I was completely shocked after seeing this 1884-piece monstrosity on the shelf at TRU THIS EARLY!!! (there were only 2, and (...) (...) As it turns out it was just the registry that got hosed. Doesn't look like this is going to be fun to fix. The Mac about 8 hours to recover. Much of it just waiting for things to copy.
