I wasn't complaining. :-)

The weather was fantastic and the light came out as needed.  I only have one
wish, and that is if light could be bottled up in a jar and released when
needed.*

The reception was a lot of fun, and well run by MC David K.  First
reception I've ever been to where things ran to schedule.

Dave did a great job with leading the crowd.  Very casual and smooth.  Made
everyone feel at home too.

DJ VW had a great selection of music on hand.  And was more then pleased
with his radio remote control he kept in his pocket to control it.

That was also really clever use of the remote.

Photo happy Calum was every where with is CANON Digital Rebel SLR
something or other.  He also brought along a slate computer which we got
to review the photos on.  He took some really great shots.  I can't wait
to see them all.

I think I shot something like 700+ photos on Saturday and came out with about 25
really good ones.  It was a good exercise to really learn my DSLR and how to
choose lenses plus how to compose/frame/focus/expose on the fly.

I'll bring the better ones to share at the layout meeting on Sat and will
probably print up a few to large size for Jeff/Jen/Sandy/Dave.

And as a final treat the gift to the guest, I forget what you call them,
French word beginning with B, brought in the Lego connection.  We all
got a little lego set of Jen and Jeff mini figs on a stand engraved with
their names.

I think the term is Italian, bomboniere but I'm not sure if that is just candies
or those little souvenirs or both:

Jen and Jeff's wedding favour gift was by far the best one I've ever received,
if anything because it was so unique to the couple.

Well I've finally recovered from a late Saturday at Jen and Jeff's wedding. A great time was had by all, and the couple looked so happy together. The weather was kind enough to hold off for the outdoor ceremony. Not ideal weather for a June wedding, (...) (19 years ago, 20-Jun-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
