Sorry this is a reply to a very old thread, but I ran into it and it disturbed
me so much I had to reply.

Better yet, I'll give you a list of parts that I want and the sets
they're available in, and I'll gladly pay you 10% over their price per
piece.  How about that?

If I have them and I don't want then then thats fine with me.

<sarcasm>

But realize, that in your system, you are only allowed to want them up to ten
percent more than you paid for them.  Once somebody else wants them ten
percent more than you did (expressed in terms of what you paid for them),
then, for the "good of the community" you would have to sell them to Mike for
the above mentioned 10% profit.  Things must go to those who "want" them more.

We can't have your selfish "needs" getting in the way.  Things must be sold
for 10% more than you bought them for.

</sarcasm>

(...) Sure - I don't have a problem with that. It'd make a change to make a profit! (...) If I have them and I don't want then then thats fine with me. Richard (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
