The ebay price for the supercar, and most other Lego sets and Lego
pieces, is indeed lower at the moment but I don't know how much of that
is due to the arbitrage. eBay has a known "summer doldrums" when prices
go down because fewer people are in the market (many people on summer
vacation, students not at school, people more interested in outdoor than
indoor pursuits, etc). It will be very interesting to see what prices do
over the next month or two - will they go back up to previous levels?
Personally I am not selling any sets at the moment because I think the
prices will go up again.
