Wouldn't it be better than just to have said: "Wouldn't it be great if we all had
enough money to buy every Lego set there ever was?" Or "wouldn't it be great to
have a Lego replicator?" Then I would have known you were in the realm of
fantasy. And that's fun to do. But when you started talking about bizarre
systems to make it possible in the real world you lost me.

I'm not begrudging you and your desires-- we all wish we could have more Lego and
more time to play with it.

You have the right to your opinion, Richard, but I want you to think about what
you just said. How could it be any fairer? Remember, equal is not fair. We all
could make the exact amount of money (fair?) and have an auction. Would it be
fair then?

You *can't* make life more fair. We are all different. That is good, not bad.
Is a person being born blind not fair? How can you make their life more fair?
What about gender?

I'm sorry if I came off as jumping down your throat, but you hit a hot button that
perhaps you didn't intend. As Lar said, this can make for good debate fodder, and
perhaps I would even defend your side (to some extent), but I think I see that you
were just speculating idly and not trolling. No hard feelings:-)
