I have to disagree in the context of the 8880 eBay sales. The DYA
information has been discussed often on both LUGNET and RTL. Anyone with
enough on line savy to participate in eBay auctions can find perinent
newsgroups through Deja News etc. A simple search on 8880 and Lego should
work (don't know, haven't tried it). The basic fact is that information has
value. So does time. I have sold a few things to people for a *little*
extra, people who have made it clear to me that they wanted the set, and
didn't have time to research other than K-Mart, TRU, and WalMart.
As far as dishonesty goes, I find claims of *Rare* for $300 Mindstorms,
Sam's Club Maniac Packs, and Star Wars sets which are available from several
online sources as well as most retailers to be true dishonesty.
Just my opinion,
-Rob.
Holding on to my 8880, 8480, and 5571 until the inventory dries up.
