ROTFLMAO!

Oops. Am I going to get into acro-trouble again??? :-)

No, but as far as I’m concerned you still haven’t properly addressed that ill timed and extremely insensitive worthless comment.

How about this-- I didn’t write it on Sept 11th (in my time zone), so your point is moot AFAIAC

All right then, why don’t you simply address the worthless part and forget about the proximity to that particular date.

Hey, I’ve got an idea. Since the worthless comment stemmed from an argument over the pictoral interpretation of the bible as presented in the Brick Testament, why don’t you show us all how you would do it? I see the parable of the good samaritan hasn’t been done up yet. Perhaps you could illustrate that one in lego bricks.

I could, but that sounds very uninteresting to me. And part of my problem with the BT is that depictions of Biblical stories using LEGO minifigs tend to mock them (the stories, that is:-) LEGO sculptures of a creche, for instance, are okay. Call me weird. Besides, I prefer felt board Biblical stories! :-)

While you’re at it, ask yourself some questions. Were samaritans unbelievers?

No.

   Beats me.

Well, now you know.

   Were their lives worthless?

No.

If so, does that imply the parable is worthless, since without that worthless samaritan the parable would be significantly shorter, and not nearly as interesting.

The whole point of the parable, Don, is that Samaritans have worth in God’s eyes, even though the Jews considered them “worthless”. It is an indictment on the hypocrisy of the Jews for hating Samaritans.

“Who is my neighbor?”

“Whatsoever you do to the least of my children, that you do unto me”.
