Blue Tub sale at TRU - Please Help!!!

Sunday and Monday, there will be a President's Day weekend sale at Toys R Us in CA. They will have the Lego #3033 Basic Blue Tub for $14.99 plus tax. I had ordered 300 of the Blue Tubs a few weeks ago. They got into the distribution center, but then (...) (25 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

(...) I'm going to try and make it to the March 12th meeting. If I do, I will bring the track. I may as well bring it all - doesn't really take that much room up. I've got a bunch of switches as well, including the remote control boxes. Those are (...) (25 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: 12V Track

12V track is exactly the same as 4.5V track, except that they have a conductor rail (2 studs wide, removable) that sits between the rails. For people who would be interested in 12V track, try talking to Derrick Bulkley. Has anybody heard from him (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Who has Metroliner cars?

Well, then you get into the sticky part - "what are they really worth". I would HOPE that black/white/red/blue train window frames get pretty cheap in May, considering there are 7 in a $22 set, I just can't see any sane person valuing them above (...)   12V Track

I recently upgraded my train setup from 12V to 9V. So now I have a bunch of grey 12V track - straight and curved, regular and electric, as well as the dark grey ties. Are there any BayLTCers who still use 12V? I'd love to trade it for some (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Layout Electricity

Regarding restricting track voltage, I opened my controller up to see what could be done, and actually, there isn't much in it. Speaking of which, until we have modules, etc for a layout with hidden controllers, does anyone have a spare 9V wire to sacrifice?
