Actually, I think I may to have to figure out a way to revert the article
counts all back to 2 after all, in order to clean up this situation most
properly. Check out what happened:

Yesterday, all of the numbers to the right of the names were blank (except
for the groups that have actually had traffic). Today, with the multiposted
message to all the UK groups, it looks as though there is actual traffic in
all of these groups, when there isn't. I realize that Richard probably had
no idea that this would happen to this page, but it's still a problem I have
to figure out how to solve, so the traffic page might actually be cleaned up
as a byproduct (not 100% sure yet though).

| (...) Well, I've thought about this more, and there's really nothing I can do (that's 100% safe) to correct the problem with the article counts. They simply permeate the system too deeply, and it would take many hours of grueling fancy-footwork to (...) (26 years ago, 13-May-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.admin.general)
