At least you got through with 1-800-453-4652! I have be trying all day to get through! At least 10+ times at 9am, 10am, 11am, 3pm and 5pm. All I get is busy signal. beep, beep, beep, beep, beep... I hate to sound naïve, but what’s the difference between LD & S@H? I’ve been a closet AFOL for a while, but I am fairly new to the ‘official’ community. I get a Lego catalog in the mail every couple of months but it tends to be just a watered down (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.general)

I don't think it's unrealistic for people to want to purchase 1000 or 10,000 of a particular element, especially basic bricks.
