[Snipped info about discontinuation of service/parts packs]

Good.

By and large, the service packs suck for our needs (there are some exceptions,
like the gray brick pack, and the black slope pack).  Either the parts are
available cheaper by other means, or the selection in the pack is still too
general to make mass-purchase practical.

If the service packs go away, that will create more pent-up demand for a
bulk-ordering service.  That would improve the outlook of a business case for
such a service.

YES! YES! YES! Exactly. Do it right or don't do it at all. Quite frankly, I
considered the Service Packs littler more than a half-assed attempt at bulk
ordering.
