I hear your pain, man. I got an idea. We here on Lugnet are a community, right?
Well, one thing that communities do is help each other out in a crisis, right?
Our Aussie and other non North American peers are in a crisis of not being able
to get a hold of the bins with the extra pieces. So, if they can find someone
who they trust, and who trusts them, then we American AFOLs can send them
however many bins they wish to get at cost. The out of luck AFOL sends the
at-cost expense (store price plus s&h) money to an American, who then gets the
bin and mails it. That way the Aussie AFOL does not spend an exorbitant amount
of money trying to buy and ship this thing, and the American AFOL is compensated
and does a good deed for his/her fellow community member.
Does this sound like a kind, caring, compassionate thing that community members
might do to help each other out in a crisis?
