Well, while Lego is about 2x MegaBlok prices in the US, European prices are
typically between 1-2x the US price. So European Lego might cost as much as 4x a
comperable MegaBlok set.
It's most likely one of the factors that has cause US prices to be as low as
they are (hooray capitalism, I guess). Just imagine how much ground Lego would
lose to MegaBloks if they started charging EU prices at your local Wal*Mart...
