I was thinking that too, but in a much different context than what you quoted
for your cite. I don’t exactly equate nonstop harping, personal attacks, thread
hijacks, and general bitterness with friendliness.
I think Nick would like to keep it friendly for those who want to practice
friendliness, by asking people who haven’t been behaving this way to leave.
