I think that it is quite interesting that there are so many useful new
elements people have mentioned that could be produced, none of which even
hint at juniourization. Instead, they are elements that would have general
usage, useful in many different places. My Christmas wish is that LEGO
would consider producing a few of these elements, and slightly reducing the
number of new molds being made for juniourized elements.
Here are some pieces that I think would be cool to see:
Half of a 2x2x1 round brick - or alternatively a 2x3 brick with one end
rounded.
Windows like the type in set 3507, except 6 wide, and either 5 or 6
bricks tall. Those would make cool sky scrapers! As well as awesome shop
windows, etc.
Rooftop pieces that were 3 studs wide so that you're buildings wouldn't
always have to be an even number of bricks wide.
Minifig scale farm animals - cows, horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, goats,
sheep, etc.
1x5 and 2x5 sized bricks and plates - occasionally these would be very
useful, as substituting two bricks for this size doesn't give the same strength.
'L' shaped bricks and plates in different sizes (and both orientations),
for instance 2x3, or 3x4.
'T' shaped bricks and plates in various sizes.
Street lights that light up, along with baseplates that have electrical
connections along an edge.
No one has mentioned new technic parts, so here are a few of those I'd like
to see:
First of all, gears that mesh nicely when stacked vertically. (Without
plates required between bricks.)
Racks that are longer than 4 studs (not the rounded end versions), and
also 2-wide racks.
Longer worm gears - ideally ones that matched longer axle lengths, such
as 6, 8, 10 and 12 studs long.
Motors with a female axle connector rather than the current batch with a
1 stud long axle poking out. These would eliminate clumsy axle connectors, etc.
A pneumatic one-way valve.
A pneumatic pump that obtains air from a tube (so you can create a
vacuum, as well as high-pressure), and suction cups that can be used with
this new pneumatic system.
For Mindstorms sets:
A small solenoid would be VERY nice. And a larger version while you're
at it.
A few new sensors that did better at distance sensing, for instance a
radar or sonar distance sensor.
A colour light sensor.
A pressure touch sensor - one that gave a range 0-255 depending on how
hard it was pushed.
A more accurate rotation sensor - one that worked in degrees (or small
multiples thereof), and didn't loose count when you happen to rapidly rotate
back and forth.
And how about a programmable brick with either more inputs and outputs
(at least 6 each) or a new system of attaching sensors and output devices,
so that you could daisy chain up to 16 of them on a single wire.
And I'm sure I could think of dozens more.

That's what I'd call "good juniorisation" (similar to 2x2x3 brick, which I think is very useful, why don't they have a 1x2x3? 5 is a bit much) (...) Lights *would* be nice! | Hi all, I was pondering an interesting thought earlier. I'll open it to all of you too. What one (or more) piece(s), NOT yet made (i.e., no mold has ever existed for it) would you like to see LEGO make? Simple question. And no, existing parts in off (...)
