Use combinations of 1x slopes.

That's what I'd call "good juniorisation" (similar to 2x2x3 brick, which I
think is very useful, why don't they have a 1x2x3? 5 is a bit much)

Lights *would* be nice! Could use the current electric plates for "lighting
strips".

I personally prefer them to mesh horizontally (as they do). Getting the right
vertical separation is just another challenge to be solved 8?)

Can all be done with racks-on-plates.

Worm gears can be butted together on an axle. Limited to the length of a single
axle though.

Yes, this is something I've pondered a couple of times. Another idea I had was
a 2L shaft out the motor instead of 1L, or a motor with a hole right through
like the old square technic gearbox.

Be nice to see these come back. But it's not a new part.

Now that's a good idea!

The only real requests I have for new technic parts would be 1x3 & 1x5 technic
bricks; technic bricks longer than 1x2 with "hole per stud" eg 1x4 with 4
holes, 1x6 with 6 holes (which probably fall into "good juniorisation"
category); and idler gears with dogs (as used in current gearboxes) with
different numbers of teeth, eg 12 (if possible) 20 & 24.
