There have been repeated proposals for the formation of a group, "lugnet.parts".
That group hasn't been formed yet. It certainly seems like it would be the place
for that topic (and many more topics about good design, parts we'd like to see
and etc... maybe even a little about mutilation and lighting things up, by
disciples of ModBoy Hendrix)
