Well, you guys seem to be doing something that I've been thinking about for
several weeks now. Since I have a number of contacts in the publishing
industry, what I was planning on doing was professionally printing and
die-cutting sticker sheets with different torso stickers with matching
shields on them. So far, I've gathered together different heraldry symbols,
contacted a professional artist, and started the quote process with the
printers. Now the advantages of this are:
1. High quality prints off of professional printers.
2. Convenience - the stickers would be die cut so you can just peel and
stick instead of having to do any cutting yourself.
3. No copyright problems with Lego, as this is all new custom work.
Now the down side to this is the cost and the raw quantity I would have to
print (probably 1,000-3,000 sheets) to make it worthwhile (printers don't
like to do small jobs).
So the big question is would you guys be interested in getting some of these
sheets?
BTW, Kevin, would you be interested in contributing some of your fantastic
work in exchange for free sheets?
Thanks,
Jimmy
